Sorry I have not been following this correspondence.
Yes this subject will be on the agenda for the board meeting in May. I would like it to be clear that I just want to explore the issues around this and have not got any ambitions either way.
The issues, it seems to me are under four headings: Moral, Legal, financial and technical, and they are interlinked. The board will have a paper on the subject which will be considered and modified by them and we will then put it into the public domain on this forum.
As for opening up the board meetings; the discussions we have are often sensitive and it would be better for any topic of general interest to be summarised and to appear here, rather than aired in public. In other words I agree absolutely with Simon. New members of the board are welcome.
