Rats and Mice…
Exterminate by setting out shallow pans of non-diet cola. The rodents love the sugary liquid, drink it greedily and within a few days they will die. They evidently cannot burp, so the carbonation bloats their bodies and kills them. It's an inexpensive solution and is safe to use around pets and farm animals.
