You may like to know that the Council's contractor, Veolia, has opened a giant new factory off the Old Kent Road for dealing with all the domestic waste of the Borough. Go to http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/10070/recycling/1364/recycling_and_reuse_centre for information about what to do with your waste.
They also run tours and kids classes there.
