Has any one got some/any information on the proposed (up to 70K) step replacement… refurbishment… redesign?

Difficult to make “observations” based simply on the four quotes in RMG's letter of 21 October 2013, apart perhaps from the fact that the lowest and highest bids are probably both unrealistic – and then there are the additional costs, of which only the lowest estimates are shown.

Are we really expected to travel to RMG in Hoddesdon to inspect further details…?

As far as I am aware it is a deconstruction, stabilise foundations and reconstruction like for like.

However it would be best if you email RMG and ask for further details as it is a legal notice and all queries relating to the works should be dealt with through the appropriate channels for future audit.

I am sure the surveyors report, findings and suggestions will be forwarded.
