      Hello

I feel a little like I'm spamming this forum now, but as I've only recently discovered it (and it's fab!) I thought I might as well make use of it!

Is anyone else having issues with their living room windows? Ours are barely keeping the heat in and the wind out – in fact, we've had to use tape and rolls of newspaper to try and insulate them in an effort to keep the room and floors above freezing. Unfortunately, this doesn't work too well as the tape keeps coming loose… With a 7 month baby, this is far from ideal…

Surely this must be a construction fault which should be remedied under warranty? Is anyone else having similar issues?

Hi Dempers,  Its great to see somebody putting the forum to good use so please do keep posting away.

I am sorry to hear of your problems with the windows in your flat.  There are some examples of very shoddy work on a few windows about the development.  I myself have one that is ill fitting and have resorted to a piece of electrical tape to keep out the icy blasts.  Unfortunatley the warrenty on the construction has now lapsed, and to be honest things like windows not fitting should have been addressed by the original owners upon completion.  The only thing I can suggest is that you give the managing agent a ring and they will be able to put you in contact with a contractor who is familiar with the design, and who will hopefully instigate a repair.  Let me know how you get on.
      All the best
      Simon.
