I chatted with a resident in Block 100 and they said the terrestrial service was off also.  I checked the head end power supply in block 1 South Sea Street and it was on, so this could be an issue with the roof top equipment.

I will speak to Rynew on Monday about getting an engineer out to investigate the fault.

I'm not sure of our block number but we are in the East Block at 1 South Sea Street  🙂 Your block is 1 South Sea Street.

“Rainbow Quay” is Blocks 1 to 7 Rainbow Quay, 1 South Sea Street and Blocks 96 to 101 Rope Street.

I do not have a terrestrial HD freeview receiver to be able to answer this question.  The aerial should be suitable for all channels.

I have had a look in the bin stores and there are brown bins in the left bin stores (looking at them) of both 100 and 101 Rope Street. These have the same code as all other bin stores, so you do have access.  I do not know why the council has not put them in 1 South Sea or at 7 RQ.  This may be deliberate as perhaps the lorry does not collect down South Sea Street.

If you contact the council they should be best placed to help, as this initiative has nothing to do with the buildings manager or their agent.

Thanks for this. I tried them also and Harry and his team did a good job. I used them for a couple of jobs. They're not the cheapest but they don't mess about and wont take over your flat for days like another firm I tried did. They even came back to sort out a few bits that were missed without fuss.

I got the small brown bin and bags, but there is no wheely bin in the main bin store.
At least not one in my block. And that's the only one I can access. I've emailed the building manager, but she said it's a Southwark Council issue… emailed them twice from the beginning of December and got no reply.
A couple of weeks ago I bumped into volunteers from the council asking for feedback on the food waste collection and I told them about the missing wheely bin… they suggested I email the council. Feels like going round in circles. 🙂

Sometime last year every flat was left one of those little brown food waste bins to keep inside along with a supply of recycling bags. I think you can order a new bin here if you didn't receive one https://forms.southwark.gov.uk/ShowForm.asp?fm_fid=728

We then have the large brown wheely bins in the main bin stores for you to drop the recycling bags into when full. I'm sure somebody will be able to post exactly where your nearest one is – but down Rope Street we seem to have them in every other bin store.

There should be one in each refuse store I believe.  There is one in 97's but I have not checked the rest, and yes I have been using it.

Top floor Rainbow Quay here and had the same problem a few days ago, the kitchen waste water ended in the shower, when the dishwasher was working. I called Rynew and the plumbers came and cleaned the pipes today. Still haven't tried the machines in the kitchen yet. So answers to your other questions though sadly.

Hi, there's one in the bin storage, next to the entrance of 2 Rainbow Quay. It's a brown wheelie bin in the corner, a bit hard to find at first, I almost missed it too.
